Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of surveying and valuation services by Marlbrooks Chartered Surveyors (trading as Surveyor Sorted Ltd, Company No. 11839093). By requesting a quote, booking a service, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Services

We provide RICS regulated surveys, valuations, and related professional services. All services are carried out by qualified Chartered Surveyors who are Registered Valuers where required.

3. Quotes and Fees

All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to amend quotes if additional information or access issues arise.

4. Payment

Payment is due upon booking unless otherwise agreed. We accept bank transfer, credit/debit card, and other secure payment methods. Full payment is required before the report is released.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the agreed inspection date will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a cancellation fee. No refund will be issued once the inspection has been carried out.

6. Limitation of Liability

Our reports are based on a visual inspection only and are not exhaustive. We are not liable for defects that were not reasonably discoverable during the inspection. Our liability is limited to the value of the service provided.

7. Complaints

Any complaints should be made in writing within 14 days of receiving the report. We will investigate and respond in accordance with our Complaints Handling Procedure.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
